Character Counter is a FREE stand alone application that counts the number of characters in a given string and compares that length to a user defined maximum size.
Character Counter displays the number of characters in your text, and the number background turns red if the string exceeds your maximum size. The number background remains green if your string is less than, or equal to, the value in max size.
